Blues Heaven 2026 hits a sharp milestone! We can now reveal five more artists joining our 20th anniversary celebration at Arena Nord — meaning 12 out of 14 names on the bill are now confirmed.
⭐️ Kenny Neal (USA) Grammy-nominated showman delivering Louisiana blues in its purest form. Kenny Neal is a second-generation bluesman from Baton Rouge who grew up with Buddy Guy and Slim Harpo as family friends. With Grammy nominations, Blues Music Awards and a place in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, he is one of the genre's most decorated names — and this is his only Scandinavian show in 2026.
⭐️ Albert Cummings (USA) An explosive blues guitarist rooted in the Stevie Ray Vaughan tradition. He was mentored by Vaughan's own rhythm section Double Trouble, and B.B. King personally called him "a great guitarist". His latest album Strong debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart — and on stage he delivers an intensity that sets the room on fire. This is his only Scandinavian show in 2026.
⭐️ Johnny Burgin & The European Blues Aces (USA/Europe) Chicago veteran Rockin' Johnny Burgin — nominated for a Blues Music Award for his tribute to Howlin' Wolf — teams up with five of Europe's most seasoned blues musicians from Holland, England, Germany, Finland and Denmark. Together they deliver authentic, no-frills Chicago blues with debut album "A Handful of Aces" in their pocket — the real deal, live on stage.
⭐️ Frimer & Møller (DK) Denmark's new blues supergroup brings together two of the country's most distinctive guitar voices. Ole Frimer — with 12 albums and awards in both Denmark and the USA — meets Knud Møller, who for 30 years was the musical engine behind Johnny Madsen and has been voted the country's best guitarist. Six sold-out debut concerts speak for themselves — now they bring that chemistry to Blues Heaven for the very first time.
⭐️ Mr Bo's Big Blues Bonanza (SE) Gothenburg's proud blues and soul ambassador Bo Carlsson celebrates 30 years with The Voodooers, arriving as a festive eight-piece orchestra with horns and groove. Over the decades Mr Bo has performed alongside American icons such as Jimmy Dawkins, Chris Cain and Zora Young — and that experience resonates to the fingertips when Nordic nerve meets swamp soul.
