Danske Esben Just har i en årrække gjort sit til, at rytmerne og stemningen fra New Orleans musikken er blevet kendt landet over.
Han er som et sprudlende festfyrværkeri på en scene, der sparker energi og løssluppenhed direkte i hovedet på sit forsvarsløse publikum.
På det nye album ”Just On Fire” smages desuden til med Esben Justs utæmmelige lyst til at underholde under mottoet: Lad aldrig sandheden stå i vejen for en god historie! Så belav dig på skarpe observationer fra hverdagen, saftige fortællinger fra landevejen
Igennem sit arbejde med spjustfrost og Esben Just trio har han vist, hvorfor New Orleans musikkens herligheder tiltrækker ikke blot publikum, men også musikere i alle aldre.
Med sine solo jobs har han givet plads til at der kan sættes ord på de oplevelser og traditioner som NOLA genren bygger på. Og lige for tiden er det ord der står længst fremme på listen: ”FEST”.
Esben Just er en fabelagtig og ekvilibristisk pianist, og hans vokal følger med i et nærmest symbiotisk forhold. Den talentfulde Entertainer sætter musikken, spilleglæden og sin unikke musikalitet i højsædet.

Der er intensitet og autencitet i luften når Just sætter sig bag klaver og mikrofon, for at fremmane stemning og liv.

He is like a bubbling firework on a stage that kicks energy and detachment directly into the head of his defenseless audience.
Through the rocking and the swinging, Esben Just’s new solo show emphasizes the immediate and makes the audience want more.
The new album “Just On Fire” also shows Esben Just’s unbridled desire to entertain under the motto: Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story! Then indulge in sharp observations from everyday life, juicy tales from the country road.
Through his work with the bands “Spjustfrost” and “the Esben Just Trio”, he has shown why the glories of New Orleans music attract not only audiences but also musicians of all ages.
With his solo jobs, he has made room for words to be put into the experiences and traditions on which the NOLA genre is based. And right now, the word that is at the front of the list is: “PARTY”.
Esben Just is a fabulous and equilibrist pianist, and his vocals follow in an almost symbiotic relationship. The talented Entertainer puts the music, the joy of playing, and his unique musicality at the forefront.
Few other Danish musicians, like Espen, know how to spot, capture and maintain the current situation – and link it with the piano’s rhythmic, groovy, and inciting sound.
Esben Just gives the full power, based on his love for everything good from the glories of New Orleans music, there will be a need for dancing shoes and handclaps when he kicks off the party.
